Eligibility Criteria To apply for NDA, you must meet the following criteria:✔ Age: Between 16.5 to 19.5 years✔ Educational Qualification: For Army: 12th pass (any stream) For Navy & Air Force: 12th pass with Physics and Mathematics✔ Gender: Open to both male and female candidates Training at NDA Cadets undergo a 3-year training program at NDA, where they receive a balanced mix of academic education and military training. After NDA, cadets proceed to their respective academies: Indian Military Academy (IMA) – Army Indian Naval Academy (INA) – Navy Air Force Academy (AFA) – Air Force After successful completion, cadets are commissioned as officers in their respective forces. The Air Force Basic Entry Test (AFCAT) is a test offered by the Indian Air Force for entry to the Indian Air Force. Eligibility Conditions: A nationality: Indian citizen. Age: Flying Branch: Ages 20–24 (up to 26 with a valid Professional Pilot License). Ground Duty: 20-26 years as of July 1, 2023. Marriage Status: Over the age of 25: You must be unmarried. Marriage after application or during training results in disqualification and a return of training fees. Married applicants over the age of 25 may apply, but they will not be provided with married accommodation or the opportunity to live with their families while training.
